According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Beverly A. Kluesner, 50, was driving her vehicle eastbound on Cape Girardeau County Road 316, about a half-mile west of Jackson, at about 5:20 p.m., when the vehicle drove off the roadway and struck a culvert and a tree.
Kluesner was transported to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, where she was reported in serious condition.
