  • At 10 a.m. Tuesdays, storytime for ages 3 to 5. Books, songs, fingerplays, flannelboard stories and activities designed to help preschoolers.
  • At 11 a.m. Tuesdays, Lunch Bag Bunch, children from 6 to 8 years, meet for bug journaling, collecting, sack lunches and stories.
  • At 10 a.m. Mondays, toddler time, for ages 18 to 35 months with caregivers, will meet for books, songs, flannelboard stories and activities.
  • At 10 a.m. Thursdays, ages 3 to 5 will play and learn about bugs, registration required.
  • At 1 p.m. July 10, Kids Can 2, ages 9 to 12, will meet for a bug catcher program.
  • From 6 to 9 p.m. July 11 Teen Art After Hours will be held for ages 13 to 18. Heavy Metal featured. Create jewelry and stuff from hardware parts.
  • From 10 a.m. to noon July 12, a craft memory book program will be held with bags and decorative papers provided; from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the drop-in fun program features pompom puppets, adult supervision required.
  • At 10 a.m. July 17 the Early Explorers, ages 18 to 35 months with caregivers, will learn how to collect bugs, make a bug book and learn about a bug's life. Hands-on play and learning. Space is limited, and registration is required.
  • At 11 a.m. July 19 a butterfly net program will be held for all ages with adult supervision.
  • At 7 p.m. July 22 "Going Green @ Home[CloseDouble] will be held in the library meeting area.
  • At 1 p.m. July 24 Kids Can 2 will make wind chimes out of nuts, bolts and other hardware. Registration required.
  • At 2 p.m. July 30 teens can learn about the art of henna. Mark yourself and get the facts about tattoos.
