Public hearing

• Held a public hearing to consider vacating the city's interest in a right of way easement at tract 24 on Mount Auburn Road.

• Approved the record plat of Lynwood Hills Second South Subdivision.
• Approved the record plat of Regent's Parc Subdivision.
• Approved the record plat of Rusmar Street Industrial Subdivision.
• Vacated a utility easement in Whispering Oaks Subdivision.

New ordinances

• Vacated the city's interest in a portion of right of way on Mount Auburn Road.
• Reaffirmed the action of the city council declaring it necessary to improve, providing for the improvement, directing the city manager to enter into a contract to do the work, and providing for the manner of payment of the work to extend city water services to White Oaks Subdivision.
• Reaffirmed the action of the city council declaring it necessary to improve, providing for the improvement, directing the city manager to enter into a contract to do the work, and providing for the manner of payment of the work to make sanitary sewer improvements in Sewer District No. 17-D to serve properties in White Oaks Subdivision.

Resolutions

• Authorized the city manager to execute an additional services agreement with Archimages for new fire station No. 3, an emergency operations center and a 911 public safety communications center.
• Authorized the city manager to execute an agreement for solid waste disposal rate for Beasley Waste for use of the city transfer station
• Authorized the city manager to execute an agreement for solid waste disposal rate for Allied Services for use of the city transfer station.
• Authorized the city manager to execute an agreement with Phillip B. Smith Architect LLC for preliminary design for city hall renovation.

Appointment

• Appointed J.J. Williamson to the Vision 2020 Community Relations Council.

Liquor license

• Granted conditional approval of a retail liquor by the drink and Sunday sales license for Randy Entertainment, Show-Me's, 1751 Independence St., Randall Palen, managing officer.

Other

• Accepted into the city's system the 2006 Overlay Program improvements and authorizing final payment to ASA Asphalt.
