Public hearings

• Held a public hearing regarding the necessity to extend city water services to White Oaks Subdivision.
• Held a public hearing to consider vacating the city's interest in a utility easement in Lot Z at Whispering Oaks Subdivision.

Consent ordinances

• Authorized the acquisition of property for water system improvements.
• Authorized the mayor to execute a permanent utility easement to Union Electric Co., AmerenUE in Capaha Park.
• Accepted a permanent sanitary sewer easement from Elmwood Farms Limited Family Partnership for a sanitary sewer line to serve the White Oaks Subdivision.
• Amended the city code relating to the board of examiners.
• Granted a special-use permit to Rhema Word Breakthrough International Ministries for purposes of maintaining and operating a day care at 750 N. Mount Auburn Road.
• Amended the zoning of 2423 Kiwanis Drive from C-2 and M-2 to R-1.

• Approved the record plat of Lynwood Hills Second South Subdivision.
• Approved the record plat of Regent's Parc Subdivision.

• Vacated a utility easement in Whispering Oaks Subdivision.

Resolution

• Authorized application to the Missouri Department of Transportation for the Safe Routes to School grant program and authorizing the city manager to execute all necessary grant documents.

Appointment

• Appointed John Layton to the tree board.

Liquor license

• Approved a change in the type of liquor license to wholesalers of intoxicating liquor-all kinds, for William Hansford Bess II, Bluff City Beer Co., 450 Siemers Drive, William Hansford Bess, managing officer.

Other

• Accepted the improvements completed under the Linden Street Widening Project from West End Boulevard to Sprigg Street, and authorized final payment to Lappe Cement Finishing Inc.
