The Cape Girardeau County Commission will vote at 10 a.m. today on whether to allow the city of Cape Girardeau to establish peripheral zoning in a two-mile radius surrounding the city. The measure is unlikely to pass as commissioners have voiced opposition which was magnified at a Tuesday night public hearing on the matter.
