CAPE CENTRAL GRADUATE EARNS ROTC SCHOLARSHIP

Mark Thompson, 1991 graduate of Cape Central High School was awarded a three-year Army ROTC scholarship.

Thompson has just completed his freshman year at Tennessee State University in Nashville.

He received the scholarship for having achieved a meritorious record in academic studies, extracurricular participation, athletic activities and demonstrated exceptional leadership potential.

Thompson is the son of William and Mary Thompson of Cape Girardeau.
