KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A bridge north of downtown was reopened after more than three hours Wednesday night after authorities investigated suspicious barrels found beneath the structure.
The Paseo Bridge was reopened at about 8 p.m. after the five, 5-gallon barrels were found to hold construction equipment. The Missouri Water Patrol discovered the barrels about 4:30 p.m.
