KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Two of three companies that checked the brakes of a Kansas City firetruck involved in a deadly accident found nothing wrong.
Kansas City Fire Department officials announced Thursday that the first test found that one of the four brakes failed on the truck that struck and killed a 7-year-old boy earlier this month.
Two more companies conducted tests in which all four brakes passed.
