ST. LOUIS -- A 13-year-old boy is in custody after firing a weapon at the Annual Annie Malone May Day Parade in downtown St. Louis.
The parade drew thousands of spectators who lined the streets to honor Annie Malone, a civic leader who helped St. Louis orphans in the early 1900s.
Police say the 13-year-old boy's weapon was recovered after the shooting Sunday. No one was hurt in the incident.
