Bollinger County teen dies in crash
The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Bollinger County sheriff's deputies responded to a fatal crash early Wednesday morning near Glenallen, Mo. Cole Benfield, 16, of Glenallen was pronounced dead at the scene by Bollinger County Coroner Charles Hutchings. The wreck occurred around 5:40 a.m. when Benfield apparently lost control of the car on a curve, sliding off the left side of the road and striking several trees and a utility pole.
