Boil-water order lifted in Millersville area

A boil-water order that was issued Friday for the Millersville area was lifted Wednesday, according to a news release from the Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center. The order was issued after a water main was broken near Bird Creek bottoms along Highway 72 during excavations, Amanda Haimes, clerk for Public Water Supply District No. 2, said Friday.
