A precautionary boil-water order issued Tuesday in areas of Cape Girardeau has been lifted, according to information on the city’s website.
More than 300 properties in the Cape Hills, Cape Village and Tanglewood neighborhoods were under the order following a water-main break Tuesday afternoon. The break was repaired, and Thursday afternoon, the city reported the water had tested safe.
