MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Residents in a section of Marble Hill were urged to boil their water Tuesday after a main water line broke.
The break in the main line on Third Street shut down water service to between 50 to 60 homes and businesses in the old Lutesville section of the city south of Lutes Street and Highway 51. City officials said the line was scheduled to be repaired Tuesday, but that the boil-water order would remain in effect until state-required tests show the water is safe to drink.
