An unfounded report of shots fired near Capaha Park led to Alma Schrader Elementary and other area schools locking their doors for a very brief period on Friday morning.

Police spokesman Jason Selzer said a call of ten to 15 shots fired was reported, but police could find no indication that the report was true.

School officials said the lockdown only lasted for about five minutes before the police said the coast was clear.
