A Poplar Bluff, Mo., man pleaded guilty Monday to charges of drug trafficking.
Deron F. McClinton, 24, pleaded guilty to three felony counts of distributing crack cocaine, said a representative of the U.S. District Attorney's office.
During the summer, a confidential informant allegedly purchased crack cocaine from McClinton in Poplar Bluff. Because McClinton had been convicted of two prior felony drug convictions, he faces a maximum punishment of 30 years in prison and a $2 million fine.
