BLOOMFIELD -- A Bloomfield woman received moderate injuries Saturday when the car she was driving slid on a patch of ice, struck a bridge rail and overturned, said a spokesman for the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Mary Jerls, age 70, was driving east on Stoddard County Road 442 when the accident occurred two miles south of Bloomfield, the patrol said. The accident occurred at 12:45 p.m.
Jerls was taken to Dexter Memorial Hospital where a spokesperson said she was in stable condition Saturday night.
