BLOOD DRIVES ARE SET IN THE AREA

The American Red Cross has scheduled several area blood drives to build a reserve supply for the summer months, when donations typically decrease.

Blood drives will be held:

-- Thursday, Cape Central High School, 8 a.m.-4 p.m..

-- Friday, Chaffee V.F.W., 1-6 p.m.

-- Friday, Zalma High School, 2-6 p.m.

-- Monday, Jackson American Legion Hall, 1:30-6:30 p.m.

-- Tuesday, Ellington V.F.W. Hall, 1-6 p.m.; and

-- Friday, JC Penney at the West Park Mall, 12-4 p.m.
