BLOOD DRIVE ON TAP FEB. 27 AT CONVENTION CENTER HERE

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The American Red Cross will hold its monthly blood drive at the Holiday Inn Convention Center Feb. 27 from 2-7 p.m.

Anyone who is 17 years of age or older and who meet the qualifications, especially those with Type O blood, are asked to donate.

Red Cross officials said with the war in the gulf under way, a constant supply of blood is important.
