SIKESTON, Mo. -- A warrant round-up by the Sikeston Department of Public Safety netted eight of 30 people the department was looking to arrest. Between 8 and 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sikeston officers arrested the eight wanted on city and Scott County warrants, a release from the department stated. The department was still seeking the other 22, wanted on charges including forgery, assault, prostitution and contempt of court, the release stated.
