Armed robbery reported at Cape Girardeau gas station
Cape Girardeau police were looking for an armed robbery suspect Saturday morning. Police converged on Jasper's at 407 Morgan Oak St., at about 10:04 a.m., in response to an armed robbery call. Police converged on Jasper's at 407 Morgan Oak St., at about 10:04 a.m., in response to an armed robbery call. A black man in a camouflage hooded sweatshirt, between 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 4 inches tall, stole an undisclosed amount of money, police said. No one was injured.
The suspect wasn't in police custody just before noon.
