A Marble Hill man was seriously injured Saturday morning when he failed to negotiate a turn and his vehicle overturned on an embankment.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said Charles Hicks, 44, of Marble Hill, was flown to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau after his car overturned at 12:05 a.m. on Route H five miles north of Zalma.
Hicks' vehicle ran off the road and into the embankment. He was not wearing a seatbelt, the patrol said.
