Cape Girardeau Police Department spokesman Darin Hickey helps Lennon Shoemaker pick out toys, Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, during the annual Shop with a Hero event at Walmart in Cape Girardeau. Around 60 children each received 100 dollars through donations to shop for items for themselves or loved ones. Members of area law enforcement, fire departments and paramedics helped the children shop.
