Jimmie Rambeau was driving on Route 177 five miles north of Cape Girardeau around 7:45 a.m. Saturday, April 29. His car ran off the road and struck a tree, and Rambeau was thrown from the vehicle.
According to family members, he is in stable condition and has begun stimulation treatments to bring him out of the coma.
