ALTENBURG TEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED
PERRY COUNTY -- An Altenburg teen-ager was in serious at Southeast Missouri Hospital Sunday after a single-car accident in rural Perry County. According to police, Jacob Fiehler, 16, lost control of the 1991 Chevrolet he was driving east on Route A near the intersection of Route C at approximately 4:25 a.m. The car left the south side of the road, overturned a number of times then struck a tree, police said.
Fiehler was flown to Southeast Missouri Hospital by LifeBeat helicopter.
