Accident leaves car on its roof in Cape Girardeau

Rescue crews respond to the scene of a one vehicle accident on Perry Avenue just south of Mississippi Street on Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 6, 2011, in Cape Girardeau. According to police, the driver fell asleep behind the wheel, drove over the curb and the car hit a telephone poll before turning on its roof. The driver was uninjured and no power outages were reported.
