Nancy and John Simminger sample signature items at The Venue, including shrimp puffs, and shrimp and lobster bisque, while on their restaurant hop, A Taste of Cape, on Tuesday in Cape Girardeau. The event benefits Southeast Missouri State University's Department of Theatre and Dance. A baker's dozen of local eateries participated with proceeds from each $10 ticket going to the annual Senior Showcase and the newly-established Theatre and Dance Academy.
