Amy Bregantini receives scholarship from IAAP

Amy Bregantini of Cape Girardeau, a student at Metro Business College, has been awarded the International Association of Administrative Professionals fall 2011 scholarship. The scholarship is sponsored by the Girardot Chapter of IAAP. This scholarship is offered annually to a student pursuing a degree in an administrative or office systems program at Metro Business College and will assist in defraying the cost of tuition, fees, books, and other program-related expenses. Perryville Police Department Golf Tournament raises $2,340

The Perryville Police Department Golf Tournament in July raised $2,340 for The Backstoppers, an organization that raises funds to assist families of police officers, firefighters and emergency medical personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty.
