Scarlett Patterson of Cape Girardeau was named to the chancellor's list at the University of Arkansas for the spring 2013 semester. To qualify for the list, a 4.0 grade point average must be achieved for the semester. The University of Arkansas is in Fayetteville, Ark.
Mickan named to dean's list
Austin Mickan of Jackson was named to the dean's list at MacMurray College for the spring 2013 semester. Mickan is a sophomore majoring in history. To be named to the list, a student must have a 3.5 grade point average and be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours. Mickan, a 2011 Saxony Lutheran High School graduate, is the son of Chris and Tonya Mickan of Jackson. MacMurray College is in Jacksonville, Ill.

Students recognized at Truman State
Truman State University recently announced its spring 2013 president's list. To qualify, a student must attain a semester 4.0 grade point average and must complete 12 semester hours of credit. Students from Cape Girardeau named to the list were Steven Boos, Jared James and Philip Schuchardt. Students from Jackson named to the list were Nathan Fridley and Jordan Whitener. Truman State University also announced its spring 2013 provost and vice president for academic affairs list. To qualify, a student must attain a semster 3.50 to 3.99 grade point average and must complete 12 semester hours of credit. Students from Cape Girardeau named to this list were Victoria Hosler and Robert Edwin Overmann. Students from Jackson included Eric Balsman, Kara Goodier, Russell Pagano and Robert Williamson. Sean Doyle of Chaffee, Mo., also was named to the list.
Three Rivers College releases dean's list
Three Rivers College has released the spring 2013 dean's list. The honor is awarded to students taking 12 or more credit hours who achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above.
