Car crashes continue to cause more teen deaths than cancer, homicide and suicide combined.

U.S. and Canadian high school administrators must register their school online. The general public can then vote for their favorite school once a day every day from Oct. 15 to 24.

State Farm has divided the contest into two categories -- large schools (750-plus students enrolled) and smaller schools. In all, 100 schools will win grants, ranging from $25,000 to $100,000. In addition, each category will have one school winning a free concert by The Band Perry.
