Scholarships

* Logan Green of Millersville received the following scholarships from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Mo., for the 2012-2013 academic year: Excellence Scholarship, Curators' Scholarship and the Miner Alumni Scholarship.

* The following students have been awarded scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2012-2013 academic year: Sharon Graf of Chaffee, Mo., received the Missouri Leadership Award; Skylar Cobb of Scott City received the Community College Scholarship; Riley Huber of Jackson received the President's Scholarship; Sara Little of Sikeston, Mo., received the GED Scholarship.

Honors/achievements

* Bethany Coleman of Cape Girardeau was named to the dean's list at Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo., for the spring 2012 semester.

* Kyle Cottner of Perryville, Mo., recently graduated from St. Louis University School of Law.

* Jonathan Mungle of Scott City received the Glory of Missouri Law Award and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps.

* Christian Welker of Scott City received the Glory of Missouri Honor Award and enlisted in the U.S. Navy.

* Christen Limbaugh and Prithvi Rudrappa, both of Cape Girardeau, were named to the Southern Methodist University in Dallas undergraduate honor roll for the spring 2012 semester.

* Nina Scheibe of Cape Girardeau was named to the spring 2012 honor roll for the School of Music at University of Kansas.
