Matthew Hellrich of Cape Girardeau received the Wallace A. Hilton Physics Scholarship at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo.

Theresa Mattingly of Perryville, Mo., received the Reva R. Servoss Chemistry Prize at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo.

Heather N. Deisher of Cape Girardeau was listed on the honor roll at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va., for the fall 2008 semester.

Jessica E. Reisenbichler of Jackson was named to the dean's list at Drury University in Springfield, Mo., for the spring 2009 semester.

Susan Tansil, formerly of Cape Girardeau, received a doctor of medicine degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Paige M. Foley and Chase A. Tobin of Cape Girardeau were named to the dean's list at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, for the spring 2009 semester.

Theodore V. Towner of Cape Girardeau was named to the dean's list at Beloit College in Beloit, Wis., for the spring 2009 semester.
