Scholarships
* Hillary Merick of Zalma High School received the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Dean's Scholarship, Webster University Academic Scholarship, Missouri Baptist University President's Scholarship, Southeast Missouri State University Regent's Scholarship and a George Washington Carver Award.
* Rebecca Beal of Zalma High School received the Mineral Area College Esther Rose Batten Education Scholarship, the Bank of Advance Scholarship and the Security Bank and Trust Scholarship and the President's Scholarship, Missouri Leadership Award and Missouri Assessment Program Scholarship from Southeast Missouri State University.
The following students received scholarships from Southeast Missouri State University for the 2010-2011 academic year:
* Lindsey R. Hadley of Scott City received a President's Scholarship.
* Brandon Michael Peters of Cape Girardeau received a Regent's Scholarship.
Honors, Achievements
* Sarah Vickery, a 2000 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School, received a master of business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Regis University in Denver.
* Jordan L. Cox of Jackson recently graduated summa cum laude from Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis with a major in music education and a minor in church music. He will teach music in the Jackson School District in the fall. He is on the staff of CrossRoads Fellowship in Jackson leading the children's department and playing keyboard.
* Casey Brewer and Jason Thieret, seniors at Perryville High School, both received the Award of Excellence from the Missouri State High School Activities Association.
n Brock Seabaugh, a 2006 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School, graduated magna cum laude from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Mo. He received bachelor's degrees in computer engineering and in electrical engineering.
* Heather Deisher of Cape Girardeau was named to the winter term honor roll for Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va.
