HONORS, ACHIEVEMENTS

* Dustin Oehl of Oak Ridge High School participated in the American Legion Boys State of Missouri in June at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. He is the son of Pamela and Rodney Oehl of Oak Ridge.

* Applications for the University of Missouri's High School Mini Medical School summer program are due by March 1. The program lasts one week and provides a preview of life as a medical student at the university.

* Future and current students of Southeast Missouri State University can apply for endowed and sponsored scholarships beginning Tuesday. Most scholarships have a March 1 application deadline. Requirements vary. More information is available online at www.semo.edu/sfs/financialaid/scholarships.
