Nature Center offers geocaching class
The Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center will offer a class on geocashing from 1 to 4 p.m. Learn what a GPS unit is and how to use it to keep from getting lost. Learn how to find hidden treasures called geocaches in the area. Learn about GPS unit technology, then go outside at the center to try your hand at geocaching in the nearby parks and trails. Participants can bring their own GPS unit or use one provided by the Nature Center. The class is for ages 12 and older. Registration required. To register, call 290-5218.
Museum offers American Indian Culture tours
Tours and tales about American Indian culture and life on the Mississippi River, led by Delilah Tayloe, will focus on American Indian struggles, strifes and triumphs as they lived along the Mississippi River. Tours start at the Cape River Heritage Museum and are from 1 to 5 p.m.

Hartle family reunion to be held
The Hartle family reunion will be at Cape Girardeau County Park South at shelter No. 22. Family and friends are invited to eat at noon. Attendees should bring a covered dish and lawn chairs. For more information, call 243-4371.
Crader family reunion
The Crader family reunion will begin with a 10 a.m. cemetery board meeting followed by an 11 a.m. business meeting at Cape County Park North, shelter No. 4. Bring food and soft drinks for lunch at noon. An auction of items to benefit the cemetery will be at 1 p.m. Four board positions are up for election this year: president, secretary and two members at large.
Overbeck family reunites
Members of the William. H. Overbeck family are invited to bring a covered dish and gather with family at 12:30 p.m. at Cape Girardeau County Park North shelter No. 8.
