Meet the artist

The Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center will feature photographer Kevin Ward from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Nature Center. His work has helped catalog rare species believed to be unfamiliar in certain Missouri counties. His line of greeting cards and photographs can be found at "The Gallery" in Marquand, Mo., where he resides.

Storytelling Festival reaches the end

The second annual Cape Girardeau Storytelling Festival will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in downtown Cape Girardeau.

Jackson church presents Easter pageant

First Baptist Church in Jackson presents "Ye Shall Be Witnesses," a fast moving Easter pageant that uses more than 100 cast members to present the life of Jesus Christ through music and drama. The performance will be at 3 p.m. the chuch.

Boy Scouts clean tables to raise money

Boy Scout Troop 311 and its leaders are busing tables from 4 to 8 p.m. at McAlister's Deli in Cape Girardeau. The troop will receive a portion of the evening's sales.
