Volunteers needed in Cape, Scott counties for National Volunteer Week

The Retired Senior Volunteer Program and Volunteer Intergenerational Center, serving Cape Girardeau and Scott Counties, are recruiting volunteers for National Volunteer Week, April 19 to 25. * Strip wallpaper from nursery wall; eight people needed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 20 to 24.

* Do heavy work setting up protective bumpers around a propane tank and air conditioner in the Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship parking lot; three people needed. Time is flexible from April 19 to 25.

* Replace fence line between Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship and neighbor. Materials and supervision provided. Five people needed, hours flexible from April 19 to 25.

* Wash windows, sweep, clean cabins at the local Girl Scout camp; five people needed, hours flexible from April 20 to 25.
