University's Department of Agriculture honors eight students

The Southeast Missouri State University Department of Agriculture recently recognized eight students who received outstanding achievement awards for the 2009-2010 academic year. The following students were honored: Darla Mangels of Jackson for outstanding agriculture student, Katie Patterson, of Advance, Mo., for outstanding preveterinary medicine student, Jason Pourney of Jackson for outstanding horticulture Student, Whitney Schreckenberg of Whitewater for outstanding animal science student, Aharon Reed of Cape Girardeau for outstanding plant and soil science student, Kaci McReynolds of Sikeston, Mo., for outstanding agriculture industry student, Wade Wiseman of McGee, Mo., for outstanding freshman and Nicholas Dames of Columbia, Ill., for outstanding freshman.. ...
