You can help this week in the United Way Days of Caring service campaign. The Salvation Army needs volunteers to help cook, serve and clean up after the Meals with Friends Program from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. The Cape Area Family Resource Center needs volunteers to install double doors for handicap accessibility and help with a number of tasks needed to stop flooding and water damage in the building at 1202 S. Sprigg St. The Family Resource Center also needs volunteers to help haul away the demolition material. Volunteers can also help remove carpet in the auditorium, build shelves, organize toys for the Tiny Toes Program. Hours are flexible, any day, any time. For more information, call 335-7555.
