Trinity Lutheran Church will honor the Rev. Dr. Ronald R. Feuerhahn and hold a fundraiser in his name Jan. 24 and 25.
Feuerhahn was baptized, confirmed and ordained at the church and graduated from the church's school.
He later received his doctorate degree from Cambridge University in England before beginning 21 years of service on the faculty of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.
Feuerhahan retired from Concordia in 2008.
The weekend will serve as a fundraiser for the Rev. Dr. Feuerhahn Student Aid Endowment Fund for Concorida Seminary.
All contributions to the Endowment Fund will be matched.
The Rev. Dr. Paul Devantier, senior vice president of seminary advancement at Concordia Seminary, will be the speaker for the services at 6 p.m. Jan. 24 and 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 25.
Feuerhahan has been married to Carol Throdahl since 1963. The couple has two daughters.
