Tickets on sale for Larry Hillis Dodge Touring Pro PBR

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Tickets for the annual Larry Hillis Dodge Touring Pro PBR event are now on sale. The event will be 7:30 p.m. March 9 and 10 at the Black River Coliseum.

Bull riders on the tour compete for points to qualify for the PBR Finals in Las Vegas, Nev. The event will also feature "top name" bulls, according to box office manager Subrina Berger.

Organizers expect a good turn out, as in previous years.

"It's not unheard of to bring out 2,500 per night or more, which is a lot of people considering they can't sit on the floor," Berger said.

The floor area is occupied by "truckload after truckload of dirt" to turn the coliseum into an arena worthy of a PBR bull-riding event.

Tickets range from $9.50 to $32.50 each. A $60 family pack provides four upper level tickets, four pizza slices and four beverages. Military personnel with an I.D. can also receive $5 off on up to four $17.50 tickets.
