Three awarded scholarships to Southeast

Jacob Starzinger of Jackson was awarded the University Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award to assist with the cost of attendance at Southeast Missouri State University this fall. Starzinger will be a 2016 graduate of Jackson High School and is the son of Scott Starzinger and Kelly Taylor of Jackson.

Hannah Shemonia of Scott City and Ryan Jobe of Chaffee, Missouri, were awarded the Regents' Scholarship to assist with the cost of attendance at Southeast Missouri State University this fall. Shemonia will be a 2016 graduate of Scott City High School and is the daughter of Toni and Kevin Hammes of Scott City and the late Joseph Shemonia Jr. Jobe will be a 2016 graduate of Chaffee High School and is the son of Mike and Danni Jobe of Chaffee.
