Summer is the time to relax, hang out with friends and family, and have fun adventures to tell about when school starts again in August. You don't have to leave Southeast Missouri to find adventure this summer. Catch a Roll

Use the hand-raising technique you've been perfecting all year in the classroom to catch a dinner roll at Lambert's Cafe in Sikeston, Mo., the "only home of throwed rolls." Also see how many clever license plate sayings you can figure out in the extensive license plate collection that papers the walls as waiters bring around bowls of food for you to eat until you're full. Past Lambert's guests include Elvis Presley, Jay Leno and Stan Musial. Prices range from $10 to $20 for an entree and all the rolls and pass-arounds you can eat.
