After being associated with Pete Poe for a number of years, serving on the Southeast Missouri District Fair Board, I have always found him to be courteous and polite, even under very stressful situations.
He is a natural leader and always has thought things out and will have several alternative plans for each situation.
Pete is a very civic-minded individual, and he is always willing to help in any way he can.
At present, Pete is serving as president of the SEMO Fair Board and has served in this capacity several times.
The remaining 11 members of the SEMO Fair Board would be pleased to nominate Pete Poe for the 2012 Spirit of America Award.
