Dorothy Lee Dolle Krueger Points attended May Greene elementary school up through eighth grade, College Hill School with the Southeast Missouri State College from ninth to 12th grades and graduated at the age of 16. She attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.

Dorothy is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. She serves as an active member of church Ladies Jr. Aid and in the past was a member of the church altar guild.

She is a life member of the Girl Scouts of America for the past 75 years.

She volunteers at the American Red Cross blood bank and performed field work during the Mississippi River flood in 1993.

She dedicated many hours to making chicken and dumpling dinners for Operation Troop Support to raise funds for soldiers in Iraq plus many more accomplishments.

Need I say more? Dorothy has become one of my most cherished friends. I admire her devotion to her country and her community. If you don't know her, she's just another little old lady -- not true. She is more active than most people half her age and inspires me to be a better person. She is the representation of a true patriot and deserves to be recognized by the community and the great nation she so proudly serves and loves.
