Show Me Center tries patio party with Bentley concert

The Show Me Center will conduct an experiment tonight before the Dierks Bentley concert: its first-ever patio party.

From 5 to 6:30 p.m. concertgoers who show up early can relax on the venue's north patio, drink a few beers and have a few snacks.

Given Bentley's partier personality, venue marketing director Shannon Buford said Bentley's concert was the perfect chance to try out the new concept, which could be repeated if the experience goes well.

Fans can enjoy the-party right up until doors open at 6:30 p.m.
