Angel Food Ministries food pickup will be March 27

The Church of Jesus Christ, a host site for Angel Food Ministries, operates a reduced-price food program. Payments for the March menu are due March 16 and can be made at the church drop box or mailed to 721 County Road 316, Jackson. All orders must be paid for in advance. Orders must be picked up between 2 and 6 p.m. March 27 at the church fellowship building. For more information, call 204-7087 or 204-7761.

Church delays start of daylight saving time

Although daylight saving time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, First General Baptist Church in Jackson will not spring forward until after Sunday's morning worship.
