The Cape Islamic Center is opening its doors to help foster understanding and education in the community about the Islamic faith. The open house will feature tours of the mosque, presentations and Middle Eastern cuisine.

Cotton Patch Gospel

Robert Hamblin will play the role of Baptist preacher Clarence Jordan and present the Cotton Patch Gospel at Abbey Road Christian Church. Hamblin will take those in attendance into the world of white-dominated Georgia of the 1950s and early 1960s.

Michael O'Brien

Concert to celebrate Chaffee General Baptist Church's first anniversary of its new facility. O'Brien is best known for his tenure as lead vocal for the Christian band Newsong. Seating is limited to 300. Tickets are available at Gospeland Christian Outlet Store in Cape Girardeau and at the Chaffee General Baptist Church office.
