New series begins at Abbey Road Christian

Beginning Sunday, Jay White will start a 15-week sequence teaching and discussing the great beliefs of the Christian faith at the 8:30 a.m. service:

  • God (grandpa, cosmic cop, or night watchman?)
  • Jesus Christ (the difference between Christ and God)
  • Holy Spirit (I'm not talking about Casper)
  • Revelation of God (how God reveals self to the world)
  • Creation (where it all began)
  • Sin (what exactly is sin?)
  • Atonement (the real reason Jesus died)
  • Salvation (salvation ... in three tenses)
  • Church (do we need church?)
  • Worship (why do it?)
  • Christian life (is there a difference in the way we live?)
  • Providence (is God in control?)
  • Prayer (does it really help?)
  • Baptism and the Lord's Supper (why these two?)
  • Eschatology (the end)
