Eight days of prayer at Westminster Presbyterian

Beginning Sunday, the congregation of Westminster Presbyterian Church will celebrate God's love with eight days of prayer. The event begins with a Valentine luncheon Sunday following the 10:45 a.m. service. Proceeds of that luncheon go to the youth mission trip to New Mexico in July. A special service with music and witness will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Missions revival at First Baptist in Millersville

First Baptist Church in Millersville will hold a missions revival conference March 3 through 5 with missionary guest speakers, including Dan and Lori Upchurch with the International Mission Board, Bob Houchins with the Baptist Student Union at Southeast Missouri State University, Bill and Judy Jetton with the North American Mission Board and Bobby Shows with Sports Curusaders. Church choral clinic to be held at Grace UMC Feb. 23

Vocal instructor Judith Farris and Southeast Missouri State University music department chair Dr. Gary Miller will hold a church choral clinic at 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. The clinic is open to all area church choirs free of charge.

Installation service at Second Baptist

Second Missionary Baptist Church, 835 Beaudean Lane in Cape Girardeau, will hold an installation service at 3 p.m. Feb. 19 for its newly elected pastor, the Rev. Cecil B. Thomas.
