The 7th annual Polar Plunge raised $53,746 for the Special Olympics Missouri. There were 292 participants with 213 attending the post-plunge party. The top fundraisers were Chris Adkisson, Cape Girardeau Kiwanis Club, Delta High School, Cape Girardeau Police Department and Glenda Sadler. The silent auction raised $1,516, the highest amount to date.
